Local History

Central Murray Regional Public Library has a large collection on Local History books, files, photographs, family history, audios, videos / DVDís, map plans, newspaper clippings and newspapers

Tracing your family history can be an enthralling hobby. Getting started with your research can be overwhelming. It is always good to start with known facts and trace backwards. Write down everything you know about your family, talk to other members of the family and listen to their stories that can inform your search.
