Membership

Details on memberships, borrowers cards and book limits

Membership is available to all Deniliquin, Conargo and Murray Shire residents free of charge. Borrowers Cards Should be used each time you borrow, this will ensure that your membership is maintained on the database. Please notify the staff of any changes to your name, address or contact details.

Borrowing
Loan period is flexible for items not in demand. Generally the following applies:

DVDs, CDs and magazines	- 1 week
Books, Talking books	- 3 weeks

Limits
In order to maintain equity of access for all members, the following restrictions apply:

Non-fiction on any one subject	- 2 books per family;
4 DVDs per borrower;
New/Visiting members	- 4 items at a time

Renewals

Members can extend the loan on most borrowed items, either by phoning or visiting the library. Videos, DVDs and reserved items cannot be renewed.

Reservations

You are able to reserve any items you require that are currently on loan.

There is a cost of $1.70 for this service.

BECOMING A MEMBER
You can present your current driving licence, an student ID card, a title/lease/rental agreement, a utility bill or mail postmarked in the last two weeks as proof of residence.
